The community-driven directory for AI prompts that actually work

Promptliness is a free, community-driven directory of tested AI prompts — organized by category and by the AI model each one works best with, covering ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok and Midjourney. Instead of scrolling through Reddit threads or paying for a "prompt engineering" course, you search, filter, and copy a prompt that's ready to use in seconds.

We built Promptliness because the two things that actually make AI tools useful — a good prompt and knowing which model to run it on — are scattered across a hundred different blog posts, most of them outdated the week they're published. A directory fixes that: one place, organized properly, updated weekly, and free to use.

What makes Promptliness different

  • Organized, not dumped. Every prompt is filed under a category and tagged with the AI models it's built for — browse the full library by use case instead of scrolling an endless list.
  • A generator, not just a list. The prompt generator builds a custom prompt from your profession, your goal, and the exact model version you're using — no prompt-writing experience required.
  • Model-aware, not one-size-fits-all. A prompt that works well on Claude doesn't always work the same way on ChatGPT or Gemini. Prompts here are tagged and tuned by model for that reason.
  • Community-driven. The library grows from real usage, not a single editorial team guessing what people need.

Who Promptliness is built for

Marketers writing campaigns, developers debugging faster, founders moving without a team, sales reps writing outreach, students studying smarter, educators building lesson plans — anyone who uses AI models regularly and would rather start from a prompt that's already proven to work.

Frequently asked questions

What is Promptliness?

Promptliness is a free, community-driven directory of AI prompts, organized by category and by AI model (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok and Midjourney), plus a built-in prompt generator that tailors a prompt to your profession and goal in seconds.

Is Promptliness free to use?

Yes. Browsing the prompt library and using the prompt generator are free. Some prompts may require a free account to copy, and the generator includes a limited number of free generations before sign-in is required — creating an account takes seconds and unlocks unlimited use.

Who is Promptliness for?

Marketers, developers, founders, students, sales reps, educators, and anyone else who uses AI models regularly and wants prompts that are already proven to work, instead of writing every prompt from scratch.

How is Promptliness different from other prompt collections?

Most prompt lists are static blog posts or unmoderated Reddit threads. Promptliness is a living, organized directory: every prompt is tagged by category and by the AI models it works best with, the library grows weekly, and the built-in generator produces a custom prompt on demand instead of making you dig through a list.
